About「24hr TV~」
The atmosphere at the Budokan was really mysterious. I felt that through this program and through coming to know of the lives of various other people, I too could become stronger. When we took part in this program four years ago, I also had the feeling "I too can't worry about such small things" yo. From there, I really felt that this program was made by a lot of people. From the people who donated in cash, to the people who encouraged and supported in one way or another ne. To me, I want to calmly relate the objective without getting too worked up ne. For my own plan, I'm starting an 「Animal Project」. With the same staff from 「Tensai! Shimura Doubutsuen」, I spoke of all the things I wanted to do and my thoughts. Although we've decided to support the fulfillment of youths, this is a documentary in the end so I think I'd like to do it naturally yo.
About the new song
When I listened to the demo tape for「truth」, "This is scary," I said, my heart beating fast (laughs). I think it's suspenseful and matches with the drama as it's the theme song for the drama 「Maou」. 「Kaze no Mukou e」is the theme song for NTV's Beijing Olympics program. I'm happy that it has become a yell for the Olympians. It's awesome that Arashi's songs can become a booster ne.
Feelings towards the 5-dome tour
I feel I've overcome various things with the rest, and each and every time, it's fun to do lives with a fresh feeling. Although when the 5 domes ended, there was a feeling of finality, but from September on we'll be starting a tour again, so I'm all excited again (laughs). Although it was nighttime when we went for the second inspection for the National Olympic Stadium, the night scenery was pretty and made my tension go up, and I took pictures on my cellphone camera yo (laughs). We didn't decide what sort of performance we were giving, but in any case we did some fun stuff. The first time we went on an Asia tour, it was an introductory stage for Arashi, but this second time we have to alter our performance in accordance to how well the Asians know the core Arashi, so we need to do some proper research ne. Just as one's tension changes when going overseas, the stage too should become the overseas tension yo (laughs).
Current circumstance
Before returning to Tokyo after the tour ended at Sapporo, I wanted to eat yakiniku so I called a friend and arranged to meet. After that, Nino and Matsujun said "Let's go eat Genghis Khan" yo. … Honestly, I wanted to go with everyone (laughs). But, when I thought of my friend waiting at the store, I didn't go for Genghis Khan ne. Could it be that Genghis Khan will expand to Tokyo…

About「24hr TV~」
I remember that being the personalities for 「24hr TV」 four years ago was really pressurizing. Of course, I think it made us do our very best, so I'm honoured that they're letting us do it again ne. I wonder if we've come to be able to do various things that we couldn't before with the accumulation of experiences from the various work we've done these four years. It may also have something to do with age, but I think that letting us do this program at this timing where we've come to have more knowledge of various things of the world is really meaningful. In my own plan, I decided that we'd challenge having Arashi dance a collaboration with a dance team of 4 disabled people. Actually the leader Ruka, we invited him to the tour, for the final dome performance at Sapporo Dome. It felt like, first we meet and greet each other there, and from now on we'll be working out details together. 「24hr TV~」will be on 30th August, which is my 25th birthday, but I'm not too aware of that. But however many years down the road, a memory like "When I turned 25, I was doing 24hr TV" will remain ne.
About the new song
「truth」as a single really has a new feel to it, different from the Arashi we've shown up till now ne. 「Kaze no Mukou e」makes an abrupt change with its fresh image, a song singing about positivity while facing challenges. I'm happy that even the competitors (TN: that is the Japanese Olympians) have listened to it. The song 「smile」in the regular edition of this single is cheerful. You can listen to lots of Arashi songs this August yo.
Feelings towards the 5-dome tour
The length of the tour was long, but since it was just 10 performances it was really fast. Although I held back my emotions at the final dome in Sapporo, my true feelings were "They let us do such a great thing". At the second inspection/planning for the National Olympic Stadium, wondering what to do, we went with the realistic image which we had expanded on quite a bit. As for the Asia tour, the previous time it was the stage for our first live there, but this time we'll have different performances and think of the arrangement and create a good stage yo. Overseas, there's a different atmosphere and feel and the usability of the location is different, but that makes it titillating yo ne.
Current circumstance
There's no rest days or time for myself… (laughs). When I have time, I'd probably be reading things related to work. Somehow now I've become such that no matter what, I'll be thinking of work-related things. I was motivated by going to inspect the National Olympic Stadium ne. We just had our 5-dome tour and that was awesome, but we'll also be going on an Asia tour, it's a great continuation. I especially think that Arashi stepped up at the 5 domes.

About「24hr TV~」
The biggest difference from the previous time we did it four years ago, is that I'm also doing 「NEWS ZERO」, and it's not just 「24hr TV」as there's a link with 「~ ZERO」and I'll be taking part in the capacity of a news caster as well. Four years ago it feels like there was also a section to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Arashi. Of course, I think all of us would like to have a good 「24hr TV」. This time I'd like to see the Arashi that has grown up in these four years. This project is supposed to be one where the whole country cooperates in the name of charity, and I truly felt the amazing power that television has. As for my own plan, I spoke with Murakami Takashi-san who's done charity t-shirt designs, and heard things about the societal contributions of modern art and artists, so if you could take note of this.
About the new song
「truth」is the theme song for the drama 「Maou」, so it really is a song with a touch of suspense ne. A feeling that hasn't been in Arashi songs of late. The image might be close to that of 「Jidai」. 「Kaze no Mukou e」is a pop song, and I put in words that I found through various kinds of research for the rap lyrics, so look forward to that too ne. The two songs make up a double A-side so it's like one grain of rice with twice the tastiness (laughs).
Feelings towards the 5-dome tour
It's started for five-and-a-half months and there's a blank interval of two weeks to the next live, and whichever location we were at there was a really fresh feeling. I was thinking, with the impression of the audience at each location with their faces looking like they were having fun, that maybe in the three hour long concert, we're providing a dream world for them. Just a few days back we went to the National Olympic Stadium (TN: he doesn't say "National Olympic Stadium" but just the two kanji for "national", but it's pretty obvious ^^) to inspect it, the stadium in the night is really nice. Looking at the Seikadai (TN: platform with the Olympic flame), strangely I felt a feeling of having a meeting of chance, since in the same year that I'm able to do the Beijing Olympics, I can also do concerts as Arashi. I used to play soccer when I was small, so because of that, too, my memories of the stadium are deep. I wonder if I should don a soccer uniform and do lifting (TN: some soccer term? First hit off google was a youtube video of a guy balancing the ball on his head and doing other tricks with it) (laughs). Seoul, which we are going to for our Asia tour, is where I went for my university graduation trip, and I've been to Shanghai privately before, so it's a city I'm well-acquainted with. I can talk about these at the MC ne.
Current circumstance
I studied quite a bit so as to do the live broadcast of the G8 Summit for 「~ ZERO」. Those in the political department started a study group and I might have studied for longer periods of time than even my university times. Even so, I'm happy to have personal experience in covering the summit at this time, and from now on I'd like to cover a bigger variety of things, so I want to study diction too.

As expected, this being our second time appearing as the main personalities, I'm really honoured and also feel the responsibility. I think we had fun doing it the previous time so to all who are watching this time around, I'm doing my best while thinking that I want to try and let them have even more fun than before yo. From preliminary arrangements to filming the VTRs,there's a lot of things we have to do beforehand ne. Anyway, as Arashi, I think finishing what we have to do safely is the best.
About the new song
「truth」being the theme song of the drama 「Maou」, I wonder if everyone's already become familiar with it? Kaze no Mukou e is the theme song for the Beijing Olympics (NTV coverage) so it's a song with a refreshing feeling yo. Even so, it's not to gain points only at the Olympics, but also for the listeners who have a different feeling for this song, isn't it also a song that everyone would seemingly get energized by (TN: not very sure about this sentence, especially the first part)? Lastly, 「Smile」 which is the song for the Tongari Corn CM~ (Aiba-kun, next to him, suddenly begins to sing it) Yep, yep, that's right ne. It's invigorating, so you can enjoy it as a song that is the opposite of 「truth」!

The 5-dome tour, ended safely. Thank you! Somehow ne, I was touched, "They let us do it in such a big place huh" yo. Thinking of the power of the people who supported us, although I hadn't been aiming for the 5-domes in particular, after all, listening to the senpai (TN: seniors, i.e. older bands like SMAP) talking, it's interesting no matter where it is, but having this experience is really good. There was an accident, and we also had to make last minute changes, but with our unity we did it without misses. That the Asia Tour has been decided on too, is thanks to everyone yo ne. The previous time, we performed with it as our first live, so it's good that now we get to go there and do a second. Nothing beats not having the first time become the last (laughs). I want to show an idea different from before.
Current circumstance
In Sapporo, Jun-kun and I talked about Genghis Khan and really wanted to try it no matter what, so when we got back to Tokyo, we did yo. It was the shop of an acquaintance of mine, so although it was his off-day, he obliged us ne. So we called Nishikido (Ryo), but he didn't come, and in the end he only came after we were done eating (laughs). Thereafter we went to play darts yo. Although it was Nishikido's first day at the Tokyo Dome, and we (TN: Nino and Jun) had just ended our 5-dome tour, everyone was energetic. Since Jun-kun paid for Genghis Khan, the darts was on me... (laughs).

About「24hr TV~」
It's been four years since they let us be the main personalities. We want to properly showcase an Arashi different from the previous time through various forms ne. It'd be great if we could spend a fun 24 hours together with the people who are participating in this program. And I'll be doing my own plan in this program called the "Giant Art Project" yo. It involves painting pictures while coming into contact with disabled people and collecting all of that and making an object, but it seems like it's become something really large scale and impactful. I wonder if I can let the people who watch have fun.
About the new song
We haven't had this sort of exciting song up till now, so it's fresh even for me ne. It feels like it comes firmly at you right from the intro right. As the theme song for the drama 「Maou」, the tune and the lyrics were made to match with that world view yo. So I'd be happy if you'd please enjoy it with it matching the drama.
Feelings towards the 5-dome tour
For this tour, there were intervals in between each performance yo ne. So for each performance, we gathered really fresh emotions, it was fun! Although there was a little anxiety like "I didn't forget the choreography right" (laughs), in the end we managed to finish everything safely while having fun yo. An Asia Tour has been decided for Autumn, and now I'm looking forward to that ne. It somehow gives me a mysterious feeling ne, that people in other countries know about us and even more that they support us. But that's something to really be thankful for! As we'll be putting various content different from this tour (TN: 5-dome) into it, it'd be good if all the Asian fans let us see them having fun.
Current circumstance
Although when we first began filming for 「Maou」, there were alot of things that I wasn't used to and it was difficult, now I've settled down for the most part and that's let me be able to have fun doing it yo. Nevertheless, I can't really relax because of the role, and I feel like I live every day with a proper feeling of nervousness. Since Naruse (character's name) wears a suit in most scenes, I've now become completely used to them, almost to the point that my everyday clothes feel weird (laughs). Episode? There was a scene where I was in the shower bathing but, when we were filming it, the water was really hot and gave me a shock. But I continued showering like "Well, it's okay" yo. It was a cool scene, but inside it was hot yo (laughs).

Remarks: This day was our last day of the 5-dome tour in Sapporo. By "reading" (TN: 10am) all I did was scan through work-related material (laughs). Breakfast was at the concert venue. The menu was omelet, boiled/steamed food, miso soup and so on. Right after the concert ended, we headed for the airport and straight to Tokyo. When I said "This time we didn't eat Genghis Khan in Sapporo", Nino said "I know a shop in Tokyo where we can eat Genghis Khan", so in the end we went like that to eat Genghis Khan (laughs).

I was full so for the next 30 minutes I slept, but from 1.30am-4am I read and studied up on Olympic athletes before switching off the lights! Even so the night scenery at the stadium was beautiful.

Although we ate often in between interviews, I drank too much coffee ne (laughs). I promised to go eat with a friend tonight yo. After that, I'll go home and practice with the video for tomorrow's PV filming ne.

I will eventually finish this! I was actually going to do Nino and Ohno today as well, but decided it'd be *better* to study for my prelims rather than translate :x So those will come either after my biggest nightmare on Monday (Social Studies + Human Geography on the same day is a bad idea!) Tuesday (Higher Chinese. I promised to not look at or listen to or speak any Japanese on Monday in preparation. So I won't write Japanese in my exam script >.<) or after the other biggest nightmare on Thursday (Biology). Depends. But I promise to finish it! I've already read through Nino's and Ohno's.

It's started for five-and-a-half months and there's a blank interval of two weeks to the next live, and whichever location we were at there was a really fresh feeling. I was thinking, with the impression of the audience at each location with their faces looking like they were having fun, that maybe in the three hour long concert, we're providing a dream world for them. Just a few days back we went to the National Olympic Stadium (TN: he doesn't say "National Olympic Stadium" but just the two kanji for "national", but it's pretty obvious ^^) to inspect it, the stadium in the night is really nice. Looking at the Seikadai (TN: platform with the Olympic flame), strangely I felt a feeling of having a meeting of chance, since in the same year that I'm able to do the Beijing Olympics, I can also do concerts as Arashi. I used to play soccer when I was small, so because of that, too, my memories of the stadium are deep. I wonder if I should don a soccer uniform and do lifting (TN: some soccer term? First hit off google was a youtube video of a guy balancing the ball on his head and doing other tricks with it) (laughs). Seoul, which we are going to for our Asia tour, is where I went for my university graduation trip, and I've been to Shanghai privately before, so it's a city I'm well-acquainted with. I can talk about these at the MC ne.
Current circumstance
I studied quite a bit so as to do the live broadcast of the G8 Summit for 「~ ZERO」. Those in the political department started a study group and I might have studied for longer periods of time than even my university times. Even so, I'm happy to have personal experience in covering the summit at this time, and from now on I'd like to cover a bigger variety of things, so I want to study diction too.

About「24hr TV~」
As expected, this being our second time appearing as the main personalities, I'm really honoured and also feel the responsibility. I think we had fun doing it the previous time so to all who are watching this time around, I'm doing my best while thinking that I want to try and let them have even more fun than before yo. From preliminary arrangements to filming the VTRs,there's a lot of things we have to do beforehand ne. Anyway, as Arashi, I think finishing what we have to do safely is the best.
About the new song
「truth」being the theme song of the drama 「Maou」, I wonder if everyone's already become familiar with it? Kaze no Mukou e is the theme song for the Beijing Olympics (NTV coverage) so it's a song with a refreshing feeling yo. Even so, it's not to gain points only at the Olympics, but also for the listeners who have a different feeling for this song, isn't it also a song that everyone would seemingly get energized by (TN: not very sure about this sentence, especially the first part)? Lastly, 「Smile」 which is the song for the Tongari Corn CM~ (Aiba-kun, next to him, suddenly begins to sing it) Yep, yep, that's right ne. It's invigorating, so you can enjoy it as a song that is the opposite of 「truth」!
Feelings towards the 5-dome tour
The 5-dome tour, ended safely. Thank you! Somehow ne, I was touched, "They let us do it in such a big place huh" yo. Thinking of the power of the people who supported us, although I hadn't been aiming for the 5-domes in particular, after all, listening to the senpai (TN: seniors, i.e. older bands like SMAP) talking, it's interesting no matter where it is, but having this experience is really good. There was an accident, and we also had to make last minute changes, but with our unity we did it without misses. That the Asia Tour has been decided on too, is thanks to everyone yo ne. The previous time, we performed with it as our first live, so it's good that now we get to go there and do a second. Nothing beats not having the first time become the last (laughs). I want to show an idea different from before.
Current circumstance
In Sapporo, Jun-kun and I talked about Genghis Khan and really wanted to try it no matter what, so when we got back to Tokyo, we did yo. It was the shop of an acquaintance of mine, so although it was his off-day, he obliged us ne. So we called Nishikido (Ryo), but he didn't come, and in the end he only came after we were done eating (laughs). Thereafter we went to play darts yo. Although it was Nishikido's first day at the Tokyo Dome, and we (TN: Nino and Jun) had just ended our 5-dome tour, everyone was energetic. Since Jun-kun paid for Genghis Khan, the darts was on me... (laughs).

About「24hr TV~」
It's been four years since they let us be the main personalities. We want to properly showcase an Arashi different from the previous time through various forms ne. It'd be great if we could spend a fun 24 hours together with the people who are participating in this program. And I'll be doing my own plan in this program called the "Giant Art Project" yo. It involves painting pictures while coming into contact with disabled people and collecting all of that and making an object, but it seems like it's become something really large scale and impactful. I wonder if I can let the people who watch have fun.
About the new song
We haven't had this sort of exciting song up till now, so it's fresh even for me ne. It feels like it comes firmly at you right from the intro right. As the theme song for the drama 「Maou」, the tune and the lyrics were made to match with that world view yo. So I'd be happy if you'd please enjoy it with it matching the drama.
Feelings towards the 5-dome tour
For this tour, there were intervals in between each performance yo ne. So for each performance, we gathered really fresh emotions, it was fun! Although there was a little anxiety like "I didn't forget the choreography right" (laughs), in the end we managed to finish everything safely while having fun yo. An Asia Tour has been decided for Autumn, and now I'm looking forward to that ne. It somehow gives me a mysterious feeling ne, that people in other countries know about us and even more that they support us. But that's something to really be thankful for! As we'll be putting various content different from this tour (TN: 5-dome) into it, it'd be good if all the Asian fans let us see them having fun.
Current circumstance
Although when we first began filming for 「Maou」, there were alot of things that I wasn't used to and it was difficult, now I've settled down for the most part and that's let me be able to have fun doing it yo. Nevertheless, I can't really relax because of the role, and I feel like I live every day with a proper feeling of nervousness. Since Naruse (character's name) wears a suit in most scenes, I've now become completely used to them, almost to the point that my everyday clothes feel weird (laughs). Episode? There was a scene where I was in the shower bathing but, when we were filming it, the water was really hot and gave me a shock. But I continued showering like "Well, it's okay" yo. It was a cool scene, but inside it was hot yo (laughs).

Remarks: This day was our last day of the 5-dome tour in Sapporo. By "reading" (TN: 10am) all I did was scan through work-related material (laughs). Breakfast was at the concert venue. The menu was omelet, boiled/steamed food, miso soup and so on. Right after the concert ended, we headed for the airport and straight to Tokyo. When I said "This time we didn't eat Genghis Khan in Sapporo", Nino said "I know a shop in Tokyo where we can eat Genghis Khan", so in the end we went like that to eat Genghis Khan (laughs).

Remarks: This is approximately the 24 hours before, and the impression I had of it was "A day with lots of dancing". For "The Shounen Club Premium" filming we danced "One Love" and 2 other songs for "Arashi on stage", after that we had an interview with the 5 of us, and at night it was the choreography for the new song. For that too, we danced (laughs). I worked together with the members for the whole day ne. At night we ate Chinese delivery. I think I reached home at around 2am and was rather tired and went to sleep without eating anything.

Remarks: This day I worked with the members alot. During the 30 minutes break in the filming of "VS Arashi", I took a nap to power up! The nap was effective ne. I returned home and ate my mum's nikujaga and butter clams, with the mentaiko I'd bought in Fukuoka and marinated octopus from the supermarket as the side dishes and so on. I was full so for the next 30 minutes I slept, but from 1.30am-4am I read and studied up on Olympic athletes before switching off the lights! Even so the night scenery at the stadium was beautiful.

Remarks: Today's 24 hours. Since I've decided on my plans for the night. It was really hot this morning so although I'd woken up, it was still early so I went to sleep again. We had 3 interviews today so it's a rather light schedule, I departed just before noon for the interview at the metropolitan studio. Although we ate often in between interviews, I drank too much coffee ne (laughs). I promised to go eat with a friend tonight yo. After that, I'll go home and practice with the video for tomorrow's PV filming ne.
